Ok, I am little late on this, it was De La Soul's 20th last November. I think back when I heard the 3 feet High and Rising cassette, brought to you by the one and only Nick Faust, and heard 3 is a magic number sample on The Magic Number, fairly ground breaking sample, due the complexity in the sample itself. A culture was derived, spun off, and inspired the rest of boom bap hip hop in the east during the 90's. Well in order to commemorate Mick Boogie and Terry Urban put a cheese ball mixtape together. Download here. Phife diggy makes a nice apperence as well as Big Pooh from Little Brother, beats are okay and obviously heavily sampled from the one and only Maseo from De La.
