Darwin contender

A woman whose husband is an exotic pet dealer was killed by a captive 350-pound black bear as she cleaned its cage Sunday night. The woman, Kelly Ann Walz, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene, in a rural area about 20 miles northeast of Allentown, said Tim Conway of the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Ms. Walz went into the bear’s 15-foot-by-15-foot steel and concrete cage around 5 p.m., throwing a shovelful of dog food to one side to distract the bear while she cleaned the other side, Mr. Conway said. At some point the bear turned on her and attacked. Her children and the neighbor’s children summoned help, and a neighbor shot and killed the bear, Mr. Conway said

I mean come on. No one thought that dog food was going to distract an under feed captive bear for long. wow part of me feels ashamed for finding humor in this the other part is still laughing.
