This is old news but...daydream believer......
in and around Oakland there's many old
homes with many old garages. i look down every
driveway and look into every open garage dreaming
of finding the )OAKLAND GARAGE FIND( in all realityi know it will probably never happen. but the newblue knuckle is just this in my eyes... what i am
always dreaming of finding.it started with a blue raked outpanhead frame i bought from an oldbiker in the oakland hills... he had
it laying on it's side under an upside
down bathtub. it was a few months ago...i kept staring a the frame, wishing it
wasn't so raked.
So 15 days ago i de-raked it. brought theneck back and that's when i saw it...
It had to be done. i had 15 days till
the dave man show and 12 days till my
friends from japan came. long days well intothe night,

Shit weather, Shit immune system, Shit rodent saw his shadow what the hell. Yeah, that bastard Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow meaning six more weeks of winter, thats right 6 more people. I thought I oved to the glorious South where the weather is "bomb" with memorable quotes like "yeah you can wear shorts all year if you do it right" from Uncle John and "No, I don't own any wool sweaters..." I will tell you what I need pants and wool sweaters right now. As a matter of fact I am wearing double layered kahkis and a sweater right now. How bout them apples... I have never been this frustrated with the weather before. Am I wasting my energy? I would like to think yeah but dude this sucks. The campus basically becomes a bomb shelter when the weather turns sour around. I don't understand and maybe I am adopting this mentality of "don't go to class, its raining and 40..." f that I pay fine moneys to attend that shit sorry.

hot dog for thought

The philosophers have long argued-as philosophers are known to do- about what time and what it is not. To some it's one of the fundamental building blocks of our entire universe, and along with stuff like distance, velocity, etcetera can be used as an example that other things exist or are parts of each other. In explaining how time "works" this brand of logician also tosses out the comforting sequential nature of time and how everything flows through it as though were some sort of train station. To another group time is simply an idea that people use to compare or arrange things that happen to them, around them, or near them. Time cant really be measured or traveled through, they say, because it is an intellectual construct- a figment of our imagination- that we use in an attempt to understand what we cannot.

the scientist, on the other hand, set out to prove that by measuring the movement od the sun across the sky the passage of time can be gauged accurately enough for government work. and praise them for that because is the rest of us were left to our freestylin devices time would be base on how long the line is at the DMV or how quickly we eat a hot dog.

Anyways this taking all too long.
Time is money, friends. And we get to spend it however we please. Meeting people , Traveling to the coast, visit friends and family. Getting nowhere is the opposite side of the coin for much of each hour, day, week, month, year, life. Anytime you can just kind of tip the hourglass on its side, foul up the flow of things, not like its a philosophy or science, but its like winning the lottery, then you can count time along with all of your other blessings. Let the rest of them worry about the debits and credits.

Time is yours.
Wrinkle it, steal it, ignore it, and give it away just never give it up.
